Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Mahabubnagar

The Animal Husbandry Polytechnic, Mahabubnagar was established vide G.O.Ms.No.211, 209, 212, 210 & 208, dt.23-06-2005 Agril. & Coop. Agri. III Department, Sri Venkateshwara Veterinary University, Tirupati, India. Consequent to the formation of Telangana in 2014, this institution was brought under the control of P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU). A. H. The diploma is a IV semester (2 years) course with a Work Experience Programme in the final semester. Admissions for the students started in the academic year 2005-06 with an intake of 22 students and later increased to 30 students from 2017-18 onwards. So far, 19 batches of students (2005-07 to 2022-2024) have successfully completed the course, and most of them secured jobs in the Animal Husbandry Department and various other Non-Governmental Organizations.
