Dr. M. Srinivasa Reddy obtained B.V.Sc.& AH from Andhra Pradesh Agriculture University (APAU), Hyderabad in 1991, MVSc from Andhra Pradesh Agriculture University (APAU), Hyderabad in 1995, PhD from Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural; University, Hyderabad in 2008 and PGJMC from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi in 2024. He joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education in 1997 in ANGRAU, Hyderabad. He served as an Associate Professor from 1997 to 2008. He has been Professor & University Head of the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education since 2013 and is now serving as Associate Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Mamnoor from 2024. His areas of interest for the research and his work in the extension field are oriented towards Privatization of Veterinary Services, economic empowerment of the tribal women dairy farmers through adoption of improved technologies, and the development of the electronic multimedia resource center which will provide the farmers with the necessary advisory services at their convenience and also in vernacular language (Telugu). He is credited with 34 research articles published in National and International Journals and 75 popular articles.

Dr. M. Srinivasa Reddy is associated with teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students and mentored many students with extensive experience in a service period of 26 years. He has guided for 19 PG and 2 Ph. D students as a chairman and member of the Advisory Committee. He has completed 2 research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal investigator.  He served as Member of Board of Management of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati and elected Member of Andhra Pradesh Veterinary Council. He is an expert member of the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB), Krishi Anusandhan Bhavan, New Delhi, Divisional Board of Studies Committee of Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and Uttar Pradesh. He is also an expert member of the Selection Committee for Selection of Professors of Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fishery Science University, Bidar, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
