The Electron Microscope Facility at PVNRTVU is one of the most advanced and rare scientific assets available at a veterinary university in India. Established in 2002 under the Agricultural Human Resource Development (AHRD) Program, this state-of-the-art laboratory supports cutting-edge research and high-resolution imaging needs of both the university’s faculty and students, as well as external researchers from academia and industry across the country.

Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM)

Ultramicrotome

  • Use: For ultra-thin sectioning of biological and material samples for TEM imaging

Advanced Student Research Microscope

  • Carl Zeiss AxioSkop 2 Plus

Stereo Zoom Microscope

  • Model: Nikon SMZ 800
  • Use: For detailed 3D imaging of surface structures

Dark Room Facility
