It has Transmission Electron Microscope (HitachiH-7500withnmresolutionandupto 2,00,000x), Scanning Electron Microscope (JEOL JSM- 5600, 3.5 nm resolution and 1,00,000x), ultramicrotome (Leica Ultracut UCT-GA-D/E-1/00), advanced student research Microscopes (Olympus Ax-70, Carl Zeiss Axiskop 2 plus) and Stereo zoom Microscope (Nikon SMZ 800). There is also a well-equipped dark room facility.
