Empowering SC/ST Communities: Initiatives at PVNRTVU
P. V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University has constituted the SC/ST Cell to ensure the fulfillment of reservation for SC/STs in all matters. Dr.Suresh Rathod, Associate Dean, College of Dairy Technology, Kamareddy is the Convener of the SC/ST Cell at the University.
- Maintenance of reservation roster for all cadres in the University for SC and STs Employees.
- Effective implementation of rule of reservation for SC and ST candidates during admission into various courses in the University.
- Effective implementation of rule of reservation to SC and ST candidates in appointments and promotions to Teaching and Non- Teaching posts strictly adhering to roster system as per Government rules
- Effective implementations of the Orders / Circulars / Guidelines issued by the Central/State/UGC in respect of reservation.
- To oversee and extend all possible education facilities like hostel accommodation, scholarships and stipend to SC and ST students.
- To provide up to date information statistics in matters of reservation to the Central / State / UGC.
- Constitution of Grievance Committee for SC,ST’s.
- Organizing Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram Birthday celebration & Anniversary Programmes.
- Special Coaching for competitive exams, Civil Services (Prelims), Personality Development, Communication Skills etc
- Awarding “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Gold Medal” awards to SC/ST students who secure highest marks.
- Provision for separate book bank in library for SC & ST students. SC/ST Cell at Colleges:
