We are delighted to announce the availability of high-quality vermicompost production at the Livestock Farm Complex, College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar. This initiative brings you a sustainable, eco-friendly, and nutrient-rich organic fertilizer—ideal for modern organic farming and environmentally conscious agriculture. Vermicomposting is a natural composting method that uses earthworms to break down organic matter such as animal manure, crop residues, and farm waste into nutrient-rich compost known as worm castings or “black gold.”

The result is a fine, stable, granular organic manure that improves the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil—promoting healthier plants and higher yields.
With abundant organic materials like manure and crop residues, our dairy farm provides the perfect conditions for vermicomposting. At the Livestock Farm Complex, we are leveraging these resources to:
